In order to maintain safety surrounding the pool and beach areas, specified water recreation zones must be monitored and operated, including opening and shutting. During operation hours, set up, check that supplies and equipment are available, and perform any necessary maintenance or replenishment.

The lifeguards on board assist in ensuring the safety of both visitors and crew members who utilize the water slides, surfing simulators, and swimming pools. He or she participates in the lifeguard program and helps the lifeguard supervisor with daily pool maintenance and facility inspections for all recreational aquatic activities.

While using the onboard water slides, surfing simulators, and swimming pools, guests and crew members are protected by lifeguard managers. Every recreational water facility is inspected daily by a Lifeguard Manager, who also oversees the lifeguard program and ensures that it runs safely and punctually.

When visitors and workers utilize the onboard swimming pools, water slides, and surfing simulators, lifeguard supervisors assist in ensuring their safety. The Lifeguard Supervisor oversees the lifeguard program in addition to participating in the daily inspection of all recreational water facilities and assisting in the maintenance of safe and punctual pool operations.
