As a member of our new ABC team, you will play a key role in the strategic implementation of our shared services model.
Responsibilities:
Respond to service requests and incident reports, using a range of tools and DevOps techniques
Support and deliver creative solutions to software development teams
Learn DevOps concepts and best-practices on the fly
Challenge yourself with automated infrastructure projects and processes in a hybrid cloud / on-premise environment
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
Available to work 40 hours/week
Knowledge of a modern Container Framework (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift etc.)
Understanding of Unix systems and basic Unix shell and scripting abilities
Ability to write code in Python/Go/Perl/Powershell or similar to solve automation/glue problems and develop effective tooling
Exceptional English communication skills, both written and verbal, this includes listening skills and an open attitude toward constructive feedback
Ability to work both with a global team and individually
