This job is an internship that can lead to a full time position depending on performance. Internships are part-time and unpaid with an expected commitment of approximately 15 hours per week minimum.

Duties & Responsibilities

You Will Be Expected To Perform The Following Tasks:

  • Setting goals and developing plans for business and revenue growth

  • Researching, planning, and implementing new target market initiatives

  • Researching prospective accounts in target markets

  • Pursuing leads and moving them through the sales cycle

  • Developing quotes and proposals for prospective clients

  • Setting goals for the business development team and developing strategies to meet those goals

  • Experience with performing business research and creating reports for company stakeholders is required.

  • Attending Chamber networking events, conferences and industry events

  • Work will be mostly remote with regular participation in team meetings and calls

  • May be asked to perform other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1-3 years’ experience working with companies in the B2B SaaS/PaaS technology industry.

  • Pre-existing relationships within this domain are an asset and strong knowledge of business intelligence and data analytics tools, processes, and technologies in the B2B SaaS/PaaS ecosystem is preferred.

  • Candidates with experience working directly with business intelligence and data analytics tools will be strongly considered.

Education & Training

  • Currently enrolled in a university program working towards a Bachelor's or Masters in Business Administration, Management, Marketing or related fields.

Ability to work remotely

This role requires the ability to work remotely. This means you have access to a working stable internet connection. You have access to a secure email client that can send and receive email communications without interruption. you're an organized, self-starter that requires minimal oversight. You accomplish tasks quickly and on time. Working remotely is not always an easy task. But for you, you got it down to a science. You will be required to check in for regular team meetings and calls held virtually via Zoom
