A home, hospital, or residential care facility is where a healthcare assistant, or HCA, provides patient care. They also check vital signs, help nursing personnel when needed, and help patients with everyday chores. Providing food, personal cleanliness, reassurance, comfort, and safety as well as infection prevention and control with regard to personal care.
