TALENT ACQUISITION INTERN | REMOTE

We are looking for an innovative, and motivated intern with demonstrated technical agility to work with our team to help evolve, maintain, troubleshoot and support our Talent team operations.

You are a technically agile, hyper-organized individual who will administrate and optimize the recruitment function in support of our Talent Partners. You bring strong creative thinking and communication skills, allowing you to develop creative solutions for any challenge that comes your way.

This position will be fully remote and has the flexibility to start between July - September 2022, with a placement length of 3 months depending on student preference and availability.

What you'll be doing:

Your impact will be far-reaching and your responsibilities will be multifaceted. Our team will be looking for your curiosity and for you to share your unique point of view. Responsibilities include the following (but are not limited to):

  • Provide support on current talent initiatives aimed at supporting all employees, especially leaders, at Tucows.

  • Coordinate support of the Talent team through use of Greenhouse applicant tracking system

  • Learn and document recruitment and other related processes

  • Engage with team members to uncover unmet needs, pain points, and product gaps to increase recruitment efficiency

  • Develop training content and materials to support Talent Partners and Hiring Managers

  • Support candidate pipeline development

  • Demonstrate your excellent written and verbal communication skills in presenting your research findings and recommendations

  • Special projects as assigned

Core Experience & Requirements:

  • Current degree in business, or a field related to our focus areas and subject matter expertise

  • Technical fluency; a fast self-learner on different platforms, programs, apps

  • A curiosity about data visualization for people analytics

  • Comfort with technology, Google G-suite products (Docs, Sheets, Slides and Forms) and learning new Talent and HR software programs.

  • Ability to communicate complex concepts effectively for a specific audience verbally, graphically and in written format.

  • Very comfortable in dealing with ambiguity, with a constant drive to focus, simplify and embrace an agile methodology
