FLIT Invest is seeking a Social Media Strategy & Content Intern to help develop and grow our social media presence across various platforms. As an intern at FLIT, you will learn quickly and become an integral part of the team. We are looking for someone who lives and breathes social media, is always ahead of the latest trends and can turn any content into something captivating for our target audience. We believe that by investing sustainably in companies that have high environmental, social, and governance standards as a collective, we can effect change that will shape the future. We want a passionate creator who is excited to raise awareness around sustainable investing and enable our audience to make empowered financial decisions. The opportunity can be part-time/full-time, depending on the candidate’s school schedule and availability.
Key responsibilities
Generate and execute strategy around increasing engagement and follower count across multiple platforms
Create content for various social media platforms including, but not limited to: Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and Twitter, that is engaging and relatable
Make sustainable investing easy to understand, entertaining, and witty, so people are compelled to sign up for our platform and make a difference
Research content trends and present new concepts every week
Be responsive to breaking news, events, and holidays, which provide FLIT Invest an opportunity to tell our story
Analyze engagement metrics across various social media platforms and identify opportunities for growth and improvement
Requirements
Preferred skills & experience
1+ years of relevant work experience or studies in relevant fields (Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Environmental or Social Studies, Sustainability, etc.)
Successful management of social media accounts, either personal or professional, that saw improved engagement and follower count over time
Knowledge of social media management and analytics tools such as Sprout Social or Hootsuite
Passion for sustainable investing and sustainability
Able to make contextually relevant content across social media platforms
You know Internet, pop culture and cultural trends
Strong attention to detail that shows you care about your work
You should know how to create content in-app, as well as through other editing platforms (such as Canva, or the Adobe Suite)
