A degree or experience isn’t a necessity in order to apply for a product design intern position with Code Foo. This paid internship is for you if you thrive in ambiguity and are eager to create designs that balance the needs of the business with a user-centered approach. You are a self-starter who loves problem-solving and delivering memorable product experiences.
As an IGN product design intern, you will be given a firsthand glimpse at what it’s like to work at one of the leading internet media companies focused on video games and entertainment. During the 8 week program, you will tackle projects as part of our product design team and alongside cross-functional stakeholders. Our internships are created with the intent that participants walk away with meaningful learning experiences that enhance both their personal and professional development goals.
How to Apply:
Portfolio - Submit a PDF or website link to a portfolio of your work. Must demonstrate at least one project case study to be considered.
No Portfolio - Pick your favorite video game and design an external tool that supports the gameplay. Describe the problem and demonstrate how you would approach a solution. Please include 1-3 screens (website or app) as low fidelity as sketches and as high fidelity as visual mockups. Submit a PDF or Figma link.
