We are looking for an ambitious and passionate people-focused intern to join our growing team to support our Talent Acquisition and People Operations function. You’ll get hands-on experience supporting the People function end to end and ensuring the journey from applicant to new hire is seamless as well as supporting an exceptional employee experience for our growing team. This is a 3 month internship, working 20-30 hours per week.
What You’ll Do
As LeagueSide’s first People Operations Intern, you’ll work directly with our Head of People in building out the people operation function spanning from Talent Acquisition through offboarding. You’ll have the ability to leverage a blank canvas and have a hand in laying the foundation for a people-first organization and culture.
Here’s some snippets of the important work you’ll focus on:
You’ll ensure an amazing candidate experience by working with hiring managers to schedule, prepare and progress candidates through our hiring funnel
You’ll help to build content in our Applicant Tracking System, Greenhouse, customizing touch points along the candidate journey
You have an affinity for data, and you’ll build custom reports within our ATS system to ensure that Hiring Manager’s always have the information they need at their fingertips to make evidence based decisions
You’re creative and innovative, but you love a good process; you’ll support the formalization of LeagueSide’s people-processes by helping to identify gaps and building to content and process to professionalize our infrastructure
You have a general understanding of HR tech stacks and you’ll support ensuring that ours can serve as the source of truth for our employee information
You’ll support new hire onboarding, creating process, supporting scheduling and overall experience
You’ll support a variety of unique and innovative people initiatives working hand in hand with the Head of People at LeagueSide

Exceptional communication skills. You have extremely polished verbal and written communication skills, and can adapt your communication style to suit your audience with ease.
A sense of urgency and motivation to surprise to the upside.
Flexibility and coachability. We’re always fine-tuning our approach as we go along, and we expect you to do the same!
Bonus Points:
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and Human Resources Information Systems (specifically Greenhouse, Gusto, BambooHR)
Experience with Google Workspace and Slack
