Our Maternity Support Workers are integral in our transformation plans to meet the targets set by the Maternity Transformation Plan. We are looking for enthusiastic and flexible people to rotate around the acute setting as well as the opportunity to work in the Community Teams in the future. You should be able to work a 24 hour shift pattern. The health Care certificate will be needed for this role. The successful applicants will be responsible for supporting the midwifery team in delivering high standards of care to these families and their new born babies. You will be given opportunities to develop the skills required for this interesting and varied role, including the skills required for antenatal and intrapartum care as we develop the role of our Maternity Support Workers further, with particular focus on intrapartum care.
