MARKETING OPERATIONS INTERN | REMOTE

You will be fully emerged within our Marketing Operations Team responsible for a number of key areas, including:

  • Marketing campaign execution and database management

  • Marketing technologies implementations, maintenance and enablement

  • Marketing analytics and reporting

  • Marketing budgeting

The role will involve working with one or more of these teams, learning about how they work, and making contributions to their goals and objectives.

You will get the right tools to do the job, for example, you will be issued with a MacBook Pro.

You will have a mentor to support, stretch and guide you during your internship.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE

Responsibilities will include some or all of the following:

  • Support Marketing Operations Manager with building campaigns in Marketo and Salesforce

  • Assist with Marketo email and landing page builds (Basic HTML and CSS experience desirable)

  • Assist with end-to-end email campaign production and execution, including planning, list segmentation, set-up, testing, execution, reporting and optimization in Marketo and Salesforce.com

  • Ensure email messages are properly constructed to adhere to industry best practices, deliverability, mobile rendering, open rates, etc.

  • Conduct quality assurance on all versions of an email campaign

  • Troubleshooting of campaigns, email deliverability, lead flow and lead scoring

  • Support creating and pulling reports from marketing operations platforms such as Salesforce, Marketo, and 6Sense

  • Learn about lead lifecycle, scoring, attribution and normalization processes and help document the details

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and issue-resolution skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Resourcefulness in getting over problems and establishing clarity

  • Demonstrated proficiency with a marketing automation tool (preferably Marketo) a CRM (preferably Salesforce)

  • You will be an undergraduate or graduate with a STEM or Business related degree
