NOT THE MAINSTREAM is a small startup, providing coaching/tutorial apps for different badass sports aside the mainstream. We want to give people the chance to dive deeper into their hobby, the thing they already love. Our sports are identity-giving, people who are practicing them usually make them play a big role in their lives. We are taking pride in this special feature, want to celebrate our users and enable them to flexibly strengthen their skills as amazing athletes.

Tasks
Tasks & responsibilities
Further develop our social media strategy with us, communicate with our partners
Come up with original content and campaign ideas, overseeing challenges and giveaways
Be a critical member of the small marketing team in terms of coordinating and shaping the social marketing and creative strategy locally and globally
Manage the day-to-day running (posting, boosting, monitoring and moderation), working closely together with our partners, including community management and support
Help guide the creation of social media assets and the visual identity of the channels we use
Educate yourself on social trends, the communities and cultures behind it, be at all times respectful and inclusive
Communicate with our users, build a virtual community, a movement, a narrative, write the newsletter, gather feedback and answer support tickets
Requirements
Requirements
You have a passion & knowledge of working with social media platforms to grow brand engagement and reach
You have an analytical mind to develop and measure progress
You can prioritize and handle multiple assignments with minimal guidance or supervision and you keep deadlines
Your passion is perceptible when it comes to developing great content and being in touch with a community
You have excellent oral and written communication skills (GER/ENG) and an ability to influence others
A greater belief in reliability, accountability, and open communication
Bonus
Experience with the Microsoft Office suite
A background that includes Social Media success stories
Graphic Design, Copywriter, Performance Marketing and/or Online-Marketing skills
Experience working in a global/European environment
