JUNIOR PROJECT COORDINATOR INTERN | REMOTE

This is a remote position. The Jr. Project Coordinator Intern will be responsible for assisting the Project Manager of PSC University, PSC’s internal Learning Management System (LMS), with organizing and controlling project and program activities as assigned and by actively communicating the opportunities, risks, and status of projects. The incumbent is also responsible and accountable for the execution of the PSC mission, “to maintain the integrity and professionalism of our products and services while enabling steady growth and development”.

Responsibilities

  • Manages overall progress of projects, generates weekly and monthly status reports, reports month KPI’s and suggests areas of improvement for process improvement.

  • Attends the PSC University weekly team meetings and manages assigned tasks and deadlines

  • Manages the Simlilearn PMP and CAPM certification program which includes managing vendor relationship, employee enrollment and progress and gathering employee feedback.

  • Builds reports, queries, and data extracts as requested by key business users.

  • Understands LMS processes to troubleshoot problems and anomalies to provide compliant and practical solutions to meet user needs (i.e., update passwords, manage lock outs, etc.)

  • Manages the new hire process in coordination with Human Resources, creates new accounts and effectively communicates and educates new users on PSC University.

  • Conducts regular user surveys and analyzes results to recommend improvements.

  • Manages internal Business Development (BD) Bootcamp relationship with key stakeholder and attends weekly BD Bootcamp meetings to ensure training content is accurately created and loaded to PSC University in a timely manner.

  • Assists the PSC University Project Manager in leading the efforts to enhance the PSC University platform, participates in all project team meetings and manages assigned tasks and deadlines.

  • Stays up to date on new features and functionalities of ACE LMS by attending all release meetings, and reading release notes to analyze, manage and communicate impacts to users.

  • Takes an active role in projects on an as needed basis

  • Assists in project tasks to ensure tasks and/or work streams within a project are completed in a timely manner.

  • Helps identify key courses needed for new hires and interns and pre-requisite mapping for intended course tracks.

  • Ensures high level of customer service.

  • Additional job duties and responsibilities may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Working toward an Associate degree and or bachelor’s degree.

  • 0-2 years experience in project management or related field.

  • Good communication & interpersonal skills.

  • Strong organizational & multi-tasking skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong use of project management tools.

  • Attention to details under pressure.

  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as a part of a team.

  • Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines.

  • Competency in Microsoft Office applications.
