Job Requirements:

1. Education & Certification:

   • Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid nursing license.

   • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field is preferred.

   • Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) are essential.

   • Training in maritime healthcare or certification as a Shipboard Medical Officer is an advantage.

2. Experience:

   • Minimum 2-3 years of nursing experience in an acute care or emergency setting.

   • Previous onboard/ship nursing experience is highly preferred.

   • Familiarity with international medical practices and protocols.

3. Skills & Competencies:

   • Strong clinical assessment and triage skills.

   • Ability to handle medical emergencies in a remote or isolated environment.

   • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

   • Cultural sensitivity and adaptability to diverse patient needs.

   • Proficient in medical record-keeping and reporting.

4. Physical & Availability:

   • Must be physically fit to handle the demands of shipboard life, including possible extended working hours.

   • Willingness to travel and stay onboard for extended periods, typically 3-6 months.

   • Compliance with health and vaccination requirements for international travel.
