The planning, carrying out, and reporting of test results on all products created in product engineering are under the purview of the quality assurance engineer. A QA Engineer will be able to follow instructions, work autonomously, and promptly update their manager. It is expected of a QA Engineer to be familiar with the fundamentals of at least one product and to be able to provide support for other products as needed. They will also help with the creation of processes and procedures linked to product development in addition to performing feature, regression, and system level testing.
