When it comes to shipboard health-related issues, this person will support the Staff Captain, Senior Doctor, Doctor, Chief Nurse, and Nurse by offering guidance aimed at reducing traumatic injuries and cumulative traumatic disorders in order to enhance the physical wellness of our crew members. More tasks and responsibilities may be provided as needed in order to continuously surpass target injury reductions and hasten crewmembers' return to duty.

Basic Function:
Provide onboard physiotherapy diagnostic evaluations, prescribe physiotherapy programs for injured Crewmembers, and monitor exercise programs to restore the health of injured Crewmembers.
To join this team, candidates must have the appropriate licences, and registration and: at least three years of post-graduate experience in areas that include Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Practice (for doctors); or at least three years of post-graduate experience in Accident & Emergency, Critical Care, Intensive Care Unit, or High Dependency Care (for nurses).
Qualifications
Previous working experience as a Physiotherapist for 3 years.
MA degree in Physiotherapy or similar relevant field
Outstanding patient management skills
Compassionate and friendly personality
Critical thinker and problem solver
· Intermediate to Advanced verbal andwritten level of English is required.
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills
Education
· Diploma /degree from an accredited Physiotherapist school or university.
· Valid Physiotherapist license from country or state/provinceof origin is required.
