The Graphic Designer will work with the Marketing Team and Creative Director to produce high-quality marketing materials. They will create and update existing digital and print graphics for email, social media, website, ads, flyers, posters, and signage. The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. This candidate will have experience in working with numerous different design platforms, especially digital.
Duties & Responsibilities
You Will Be Expected To Perform The Following Tasks:
Design infographics, presentations, data visualizations, and templates
Edit professional photos including retouching, background removal, and color/tone correction
Edit video content for distribution on digital platforms
Develop creative concepts, create mocks, participate in design reviews, and implement feedback
Demonstrate strong communication skills and professionalism
Perform all assigned work in a timely manner to meet project deadlines
Collaborate with Co-Founders to ensure consistency of designs across various media outlets
Create compelling and effective designs and various digital media
Maintain awareness of current industry and technology standards, social media, competitive landscape and market trends
Work 100% remotely and participate in regular team meetings and calls
May be asked to perform other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
A minimum of 1+ years of experience working as a graphic designer with an established portfolio of work
Required Skills & Experience
Experience using Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Video editing experience a plus
Familiar with branding concepts and adhering to style guides
Familiar with layout, composition, topography, and visual storytelling
Able to prioritize tasks, multi-task and meet deadlines
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Education & Training
Currently enrolled in a university program working towards a Bachelor's or Masters in related field
Ability to work remotely
This role requires the ability to work remotely. This means you have access to a working stable internet connection. You have access to a secure email client that can send and receive email communications without interruption. you're an organized, self-starter that requires minimal oversight. You accomplish tasks quickly and on time. Working remotely is not always an easy task. But for you, you got it down to a science. You will be required to check in for regular team meetings and calls held virtually via Zoom
