Internship opportunity for students pursuing a career in accounting or finance with a desire to learn first-hand how a global accounting organization functions day to day.

Job Description:

The Americas GL accounting group is a perfect opportunity for students pursuing a career in accounting or finance with a desire to learn first-hand how a global accounting organization functions day to day. You will have the opportunity to see how the accounting processes and systems work to ensure financial accuracy.

This internship will be from summer of 2022 to summer of 2023.

In a typical day, you will:

· Work on entry-level journal entries and reconciliations.

· Compile and analyze data in order to prepare supporting schedules.

· Assist with SOX controls.

· Work with team members and business partners on day to day operations.

Required Qualifications:

· Basic knowledge of accounting principles and business processes.

· Good time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, and organizational skills.

· Works well in a team environment.

· Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word.

· Demonstrates excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills.

Preferred Qualifications: Experience with concepts of audit, accounting, and financial reporting.

Experience: Position targeted towards college students in their senior year pursuing a bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or master's students pursuing a master's degree in accounting or finance.

Physical Demands:

· General office environment and working from home.

· Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
