SmartAsset is looking for a summer intern to join our editorial team and help us in our mission to create high-quality personal finance content. The intern will assist our writers and editors on a number of projects and initiatives, including researching and brainstorming for content campaigns; updating existing articles for accuracy and SEO best practices; creating content for our syndication initiatives; and writing and editing articles. The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic collaborator with exceptional writing and editing skills and a working knowledge of personal finance or economics.
Qualifications:
Enrollment in a four-year university program, preferably in Journalism, English or Media (recent grads welcome, too)
Outstanding editing, writing and research skills
Previous journalism and digital media experience
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Solid grounding in data analysis and the use of spreadsheet programs
