CO2 analyst (internship) | REMOTE

At Searoutes, as a CO2 analyst, you will report fo the VP Customer Success. You will be the crucial link between our Product and Sales teams, feeding on customer feedbacks and your own creativity to improve our solution and help our client base comprehend and reduce their shipping carbon footprint. More specifically you will :

  • Deliver GHG analyses for our customers using our APIs

  • Challenge our methodology and help the product grow in accuracy

  • Discuss with our customers how accuracy can be improved on their end

  • Enhance added value through automization

  • Support our customers while they use our APIs and our reports

  • Understand our customers' needs and bring them proactive assistance

  • Propose and implement new ways to visualize the data to make a greater impact

  • Help our customers leverage our data to decrease their GHG emissions


Requirements

  • You are familiar with data and you are proficient in Excel, database management, and can handle simple Python scripts

  • You've already used BI tools like Tableau, PowerBI or Qlikview

  • You are at least familiar with the shipping industry : you know what the words TEU, drayage, transhipment or tender mean, or you're smart enough to have looked them up in advance :)

  • You show a high level of motivation and commitment to make an impact on climate change

  • You have worked before (including as an intern) and know what you want

  • You have excellent communication skills in English and preferably in French too.

  • You are adaptable, thorough and rigorous, and you learn fast

  • You are a team player who is self-dependent and enjoys goal-oriented work.

  • You like to solve intricate problems and make it look simple
