As a Cloud Engineer Intern you will be part of a team of DevOps focused engineers to guide Ellucian’s DevOps program, standards and best practices. You will be involved in developing, implementing, and supporting DevOps solutions and pipelines to be adopted by Ellucian’s applications teams. You will get to learn some of the latest technologies and enjoy creative independence to bring your ideas to life in an open and collaborative team environment. Where you will make an impact
Developing, engineering, and supporting Ellucian’s automation frameworks and CI/CD tools.
Coding CI/CD pipelines with a strong understanding of our product's architecture and cloud infrastructure aiming to accelerate delivery and drive down costs.
Working closely with the Development and Cloud Operations teams to develop and maintain the Cloud Supply Chain frameworks, technologies, and feedback tools.
Developing and engineering infrastructure changes, as code, using methodologies to ensure architecture implemented strives for five nines.
Ensuring organizational information security best practices, and policies, are adhered to when devising solutions.
Develop innovative new DevOps solutions to Ellucian’s application teams.
What you will bring
Hands on coding and/or scripting experience
Knowledge of tools such as Ansible, Bash, Docker, Git, Jenkins, Kibana, Kubernetes, Packer, Prometheus, Powershell, Python, Ruby, Terraform
A strong passion for DevOps and Cloud solutions.
Knowledge of configuring and updating infrastructure as code.
Ability to shift and adapt to changes as new challenges are presented.
Ability to clearly communicate complex ideas verbally and in writing to varied audiences including product developers, cloud engineers, product management, and executive-level collaboration
Excellent troubleshooting, problem solving, and analytical skills.
