Throughout their shifts, the registered nurse carries out a wide range of tasks, including completing nursing procedures and patient care plans, working with doctors and multidisciplinary team members, supporting patients and their families emotionally, physically, and spiritually, and overseeing designated team members. They differ according on the department or unit to which they are allocated.
