Do you want to join a forward-thinking entrepreneurial careers team to increase the employability of students and graduates? You will have experience of working with students to increase their employability skills as well as thinking outside the box on traditional careers methods. The ability to present to groups as well as 1-1 work is a must alongside a demonstrated history of building relationships with academics. MAIN ACTIVITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. To provide a personalised service to students, by preparing them for recruitment activities via a range of initiatives, both online, in groups and in 121 meetings, proactively increasing attendance to the LSBU Careers Hub

2. To manage own workload and ensure that the Service is proactive and resource effective and hits required outcomes

3. To be the key point of delivery of the Careers Hub service to students, ensuring high quality service provision and excellence in customer service.

4. To manage vacancies and professional opportunities within the Careers Hub and liaise with colleagues across the Placements and Employability team to ensure a fully joined up service with placements and vacancies managed.

5. Be a conduit to colleagues in schools for curriculum sessions and to support the Employability Team in embedding of employability within individual courses.

6. To lead on employability project work with specific student cohorts as applicable.

Full-time, permanent (35 hours per week) Expected days in the office 3 per week

Please note that the University is operating a hybrid working model which means a mix of working on site and from home, confirmation of days worked on campus are arranged with the line manager.
