We are seeking to hire quantity surveyors who are willing to migrate to Australia. Someone willing to apply their skills as they approach a new stage of their career and has previously worked for contractors to complete projects would be a good fit for the post.
We find that people who have hands-on experience of delivering projects throughout their career are exactly what our clients need. You will enjoy the variety and challenge of working with a variety of clients and projects and being able to share your experience and add value where it counts. We will develop your expertise in handling claims and give you the right exposure to move deeper into the field of dispute resolution.
You will have a desire for project excellence and be able to use your initiative to get the results we need for clients. You will enjoy the stakeholder management element of your role and possess the ability to engage with and influence people from different backgrounds and disciplines.
A qualification in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Law, or a related discipline
A minimum of 10+ years industry experience working for a construction or engineering contractor and/or specialist claims consultancy
Project experience is essential
Excellent letter and report writing skills
The ability to communicate clearly and concisely to a non-technical audience
The ability to process, model and present large data sets
A capacity for analytical thinking and problem solving
An ability to cut through the noise, and work with a variety of people to achieve the correct outcomes for the client or project
