Lead and inspire a dedicated team of perioperative professionals
Drive service excellence and innovation in perioperative care
Work collaboratively with senior management to achieve operational goals
Lead the perioperative nursing team, fostering a positive work environment.
Manage resources efficiently, including staff, budget, and materials.
Uphold patient care standards and implement quality improvement measures.
Develop and enforce perioperative policies and procedures.
Facilitate staff professional development and training.
Oversee patient care coordination in perioperative phases.
Conduct risk assessments and manage departmental risks.
Engage with stakeholders, including patients, families, and healthcare teams.
Evaluate service performance and drive continuous improvement.
Contribute to strategic planning and adapt to evolving healthcare needs.
Demonstrated expertise in perioperative care
Proven leadership and management experience in a similar setting
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to implement and drive quality improvement initiatives
Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent degree
Postgraduate qualification in perioperative nursing highly desirable
