In order to fill the position of Truss Small Forklift Driver (LMIA AVAILABLE) at a lumber firm headquartered in Ontario, Canada, our corporate client is seeking to hire both domestic and international workers:
Safely operating machinery
Navigating through the warehouse in an organized manner
Reading factory orders
Utilizing basic shop math such as accurately reading tape measures, gauges and other testing equipment.
Consistent quality and count inspection of a product.
Accurately completing quality and administrative document checks to ensure specific directions are followed
Unloading materials and merchandise from incoming vehicles and stacking them to assigned places
Locating and moving stock of products to pallets or crates for storage or shipment
Identifying damages and report shortages or quality deficiencies
1 year of experience in high volume warehouse or receiving/replenishment.
Certification in at least one power mobile equipment (forklift, electric pallet jack, etc.) is preferred.
Hours of operation: Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., occasional over-time is required to meet deadlines
