Our corporate client is looking to hire foreign workers for the Truck Driver position in a transportation company based out in Toronto, Canada. The Truck Driver will operate heavy trucks to transport goods and materials over urban, interurban, provincial, and international routes. Support with getting a Permanent Residency in Canada after 1 - 2 years of work will be provided.
- 2 years of verified work experience as a truck driver
- English language proficiency CLB 4
- Driving license from your home country or country of residence
- Criminal background search
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
Transport finished goods and raw materials over land to and from manufacturing plants or retail and distribution centers
Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
Document and log work/rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel/toll receipts
Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
Collect and verify delivery instructions
What we are offering:
