In order to deliver an effective and efficient procurement service, including the delivery of savings initiatives within the BSOL Procurement Collaborative, the post holder will collaborate with a dynamic procurement systems team: supporting other stakeholders, such as finance, and the larger procurement management team. To assist management, procurement personnel, and stakeholders in carrying out the program and plan, develop and provide reliable and dynamic custom real-time expenditure, savings, and KPI dashboards, reporting tools, and other applications. The BSOL Procurement Collaborative (BSOL PC), hosted by University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust (UHB) provides procurement and supply chain services to UHB; Birmingham Women's and Children's NHS Foundation Trust, The Royal Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and the Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust
The procurement team plays a key role in supporting the delivery of high quality patient care whilst ensuring value for money is achieved and we are looking for a new self-motivated and enthusiastic Systems & Reporting Analyst to join our procurement.
Working as part of a team and having responsibility of the financial systems used by the finance/procurement team.
To support with the development of procurement systems.
To ensure that the Trust's ledgers and management information systems are maintained and updated on a timely and accurate basis and in accordance with the Trust's Standing Financial Instructions and financial management policies.
To ensure that the financial data is accurate and available for use within the Trust's strict reporting requirements.
To develop procurement processes to enable reporting on expenditure.
To develop management and financial systems to improve both financial information and procurement information, for use by management of the Trust.
Responsible for ensuring data quality and integrity of models.
Performing daily system checks.
Collecting, collating and carrying out complex data analysis in support of management & stakeholder requests.
Manipulating, cleansing & processing data using Power BI, Excel, Access, Crystal Reports, Microsoft SQL Server and other Business Intelligence tools.
Data entry, data auditing, creating data reports & monitoring all data for accuracy and also carry out full validation of all data.
Provide on-going administration of the database including performance monitoring and tuning.
Ensure data integration with source data to and from relevant systems.
Good standard of General Education.
Educated to degree level and/or relevant
experience in E-Procurement systems.
Knowledge of a range of finance and
IM&T areas acquired through
qualification to degree or equivalent level or relevant experience.
Systems administration experience.
Extensive experience of financial and
other systems management.
Significant experience and up to date
knowledge of integrated financial IT
systems, database management and
Microsoft Office products.
Knowledge of Integra Finance System
Detailed knowledge of Access, MS office
software and capital accounting systems
Experienced in training staff in using
computer software
Use of Microsoft Power BI, Crystal
Reports and other BI report writing
software.
Experience of implementing and
managing E-Commerce platforms.
Working within a team.
Working within a results drivenenvironment.

Advanced analytical skills; able to extract
and manipulate highly complex data for
