You'll be responsible for other survey field crew members (rodman, instrument technician, senior instrument technician) in the completion of field survey assignments and projects. Works under the direction of senior project personnel based on project assignments.
Using knowledge and equipment to complete field tasks for Right-of-Way, Design, Hydraulic, Structure, and Construction Survey.
Setting control networks for projects.
Record and Notetaking.
Construction Staking and inspection (at times).
Willingness to travel and work outdoors in all types of weather.
Willingness to work OT as required.
Perform physical activities such as lifting, dragging, stooping, standing and walking for long periods of time.

Essential Responsibilities:
Trains technicians in the use of survey equipment.
Maintains survey tools, equipment, and vehicles.
Operates survey equipment to conduct survey activities.
Accurately documents and records field data.
Reads and comprehends construction and real estate documents.
Performs courthouse and field research needed for locating property and right-of-way lines.
Other duties as assigned.
Associate Degree
3 years of surveying experience
In lieu of education, 5 years of surveying experience
