You will design & implement new features for the software on our mapping devices
You will create concepts, software architecture & design for our core software stack (C++, Linux/Ubuntu, ROS, Python)
You will collaborate with our hardware teams on the evaluation and integration of new sensors, compute units, and components incl. performance and quality evaluations
You will write drivers or APIs to bridge the hardware/software interface
You will have the opportunity to be actively involved in the full life-cycle of software development from design to deployment including infrastructure and continuous integration/delivery
You will handle the continuous improvement of automated tests and automated delivery of software
A Master's degree or Ph.D. in computer science, electrical engineering, information systems, or similar
Proficiency in C++ and Python
Proficiency with Linux and drivers (embedded)
Expertise in ROS (Robot Operating System) or other robotic software ecosystems
Excellent communication skills in English
Experience with the hardware of sensors like laser scanners, IMUs, and cameras would be nice to have
Experience with PCL (Point Cloud Library) and OpenCV would be an added advantage
