In partnership with Tusla, Ireland's Child and Family Agency, we are recruiting for Professionally Qualified Social Workers within child protection and welfare services on a nationwide basis to work across a number of different areas including: •Child Protection and Welfare; •Family Support; •Duty/Intake (initial assessment); •Children in Care; •Fostering
Tusla, the Child and Family Agency was established in 2014 and is responsible for a range of statutory functions including provision of child protection, alternative care, specified regulatory services and a range of family support services to enable its staff to make an important contribution to improve the wellbeing and outcomes for children living in Ireland. Tusla has commenced a major improvement programme with significant focus on Practice, Culture and Structure.
Tusla currently have responsibility for a budget in excess of €800m and deliver their services through circa 5,000 people in 350 locations across Ireland.
The Child and Family Agency has responsibility for the following range of services:
•Child Protection and Welfare
•Family Support
•Alternative Care
•Adoption
•Tusla Education Support Services (TESS)
•Domestic Sexual and General Based Violence (DSGBV)
•Children's Service Regulation
•Counselling and Therapeutic Supports
Permanent employment contract including sponsorship of a critical skills employment permit
Competitive salaries ranging from €42,657 - €61,901 depending on experience
Excellent relocation and onboarding package including on boarding flight to Ireland, accommodation allowance to the value of €3,900, visa/permit costs and re-imbursement CORU recognition and registration fee
Assistance with registration with CORU, the Health & Social Care Professional regulatory authority
Induction and orientation program on arrival

Excellent supervision and a focus on developing strengths as a Social Worker as well as continuous Training and Development sessions with a dedicated and individualised training plan

A recognised qualification as a Professionally Qualified Social Worker and professional registration in your country of practice
Eligible to apply for registration as a Professionally Qualified Social Worker with CORU, the Health & Social Care Professionals regulatory authority
Experience and an interest in working in children and families services
Experience and an interest in working in child protection
A full clean driver's licence is desirable
Police clearance
