SOCIAL CONTENT MARKETING MANAGER | REMOTE

We are looking for a Social Content Marketing Manager to support the Global Social and Content Marketing team. The ideal candidate should have a background in social media content marketing and the ability to be flexible and solutions-oriented in a fast-paced environment. This role will report to the VP, of Global Content Marketing.

Responsibilities:
  • Help drive the ideation, execution, and delivery of strategic content across the brand’s digital ecosystem, including brand .com, retailer .com, social platforms, and global digital 360 programs

  • Lead the development on content for global toolkits in collaboration with cross functional partners, as well as global retailer partners for regions: EU, UK, AU, APAC, CAN, LATAM

  • Stay abreast of global content competitive activity and trends, conduct competitive analysis, assess new competitive product launches, and create presentation materials as needed and drive creation of internal presentations

  • Identify regional considerations and localization strategies, cross channels and maintain expertise in content and media landscapes, culture and consumer behavior

  • Establish scalable processes for successful tentpole launches and identify opportunities for improved procedures and executions

  • Oversee social content production on Instagram, Stories, Reels, TikTok (included but not limited to producing quality images and video content)

  • Identify, build relationships with and brief internal creative teams, external agencies and content creators in alignment with our goals and strategy

  • Assist with producing social content (photography, video) and educational content strategy and execution (including briefing internal Creative team for omnichannel content for brand ecosystem)

  • Own content marketing planning timelines to ensure success of campaigns across marketing channels

  • Manage day-to-day scheduling and publishing of editorial content on social to help support cross-functional initiatives (eComm, Email, Paid Media, Retail, Marketing) delivering focused content to target audiences

  • Track and report on social media performance (follower growth, engagement rates, sales revenue, etc.) on a weekly basis

  • Manage and inspire a direct report (Associate Manager) to help articulate and execute content strategy across each piece of the business

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize synergies in all marketing efforts globally, supporting each sales channel’s needs; conceive and execute creative and engaging social media campaigns that build brand awareness, support product launches and brand story moments

  • Research brands for future collaboration and track existing partnerships

  • Awareness of emerging technologies and platforms and stay current with industry/advertising/cultural trends

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, training and/or experience

  • Strong proficiency managing social media channels (Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, Snapchat, Pinterest, etc.)

  • Experience delivering social and content activations for global prestige retailer partners: Sephora, Cult Beauty, Harrods, Selfridges, etc.

  • Comfortable on-camera

  • Expert understanding of writing mechanics and English grammar with strong social copywriting experience and ability to master brand tone/voice

  • Knowledge and experience with social selling

  • Familiarity with social media KPIs and reporting tools

  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office (namely Excel)

  • Exceptional written communication skills with keen attention to detail

  • Self-starter, ability to thrive in a fast paced, start-up environment

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 5 years’ experience in a marketing and social media industry, preferably in beauty

  • Analytical skills a plus

  • Photoshop and photography/video experience a plus
