We're looking for a Senior Performance Marketing Manager to be responsible for creating & delivering campaigns across the customer lifecycle to drive acquisition, retention & engagement. The Senior Performance Marketing Manager will be responsible for setting our performance vision, innovating the channel, collaborating with other business functions and defining the paid strategy.

Reporting to our Chief Marketing Officer the role will work closely with our marketing and data teams, as well as our CEO, to devise our international growth strategy. Performance Marketing is a key pillar in Airtasker’s marketing strategy and serves to maximize the acquisition of new consumers as well as driving retention by re engaging existing users. Therefore, enabling the business to achieve consumer based targets and ultimately its financial goals.

What you'll do:

· Develop and own the paid media strategy for acquisition, activation and reactivation

· Hands-on day-to-day optimisation of performance marketing activity across all paid media channels implement and monitor the performance of hypothesis led testing of strategies, audiences and creatives within paid media channels

· Measure and report on the performance of paid channels on an individual and aggregate basis to the business, in order to drive wider feedback loop

· Communicate key learnings from testing to key internal and external stakeholders

· Setting reasonable expectations of conversion volume and management of budget both on an individual and aggregate basis

· Coordinating with the broader marketing team to ensure alignment and consistency across marketing channels

What you'll need to succeed:

· Strong understanding of best practice campaign implementation and optimisation strategies across Google Ads (Search & Display), Google Ads Editor, Google Analytics, Facebook Ads Manager, Verizon, Taboola, Tradedesk, DV360

· Up to date with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices

· Strong commercial acumen

· Strategic thinker with the ability to translate quantitative and qualitative data into a targeted performance marketing strategy and continuous drive optimisation of strategy through effective experimentation

· Ability to set and manage expectations of results to forecast performance in order to create budgets

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Sound stakeholder management ability to influence others and build relationships

· Strong project management and collaboration skills, adept at prioritising most impactful tasks/projects

· Strong ability to report, visualise and manipulate complex data in Microsoft Excel, to effectively communicate performance and business impact to the broader business

· Proactive can-do attitude

· Ability to operate in a very fast paced environment with ambiguity
