We are looking for a senior mental health coordinator to supervise, mentor, train, and motivate a team of 4–9 intensive care coordinators, encourage self-care and collaborative effort through weekly individual/group supervision, and team meetings, and review and edit (and occasionally conduct) thorough assessments of family and youth in need of services. A successful Sr. ICC/Manager will do the following:

  • Oversee, coach, train, and support a team of 4-9 Intensive Care Coordinators.

  • Promote self-care and teamwork through the provision of weekly individual/group supervision, and team meetings.

  • Review and edit (and sometimes conduct) comprehensive assessments of family and youth requiring services.

  • Support departmental budgeting by managing staff to submit documentation and billing in a timely manner.

  • Ensure regulatory compliance by ensuring team members’ documentation meets utilization review and quality assurance standards.

  • Contribute to the management team by participating in weekly management meetings, training and development, consultation with supervisor and team members on challenging and difficult client issues, and secondary on-call rotation.

  • Expand the reach of the program and access to resources by collaborating with community-based organizations, networking with local providers, and managing special projects as needed.

Qualifications

  • Must be an independently licensed, Master’s level clinician with at least three (3) years of experience in providing behavioral health services to youth and families.

  • Currently licensed as a clinician in the state of Massachusetts; preference for licensure as an independent practitioner

  • Must have supervisory experience and experience working collaboratively with state agencies, consumer advocacy groups, and/or behavioral health outpatient facilities

  • Must maintain certification in the Massachusetts CANS

  • Preferably knowledgeable about the the communities we serve

  • Preferably knowledge of a second language such as Spanish or Haitian Creole

  • Computer literate including Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer with the ability to learn new software applications
