As a Senior Business Analyst, you will support stakeholders' data-driven decisions by surfacing relevant information using our technologies. Building scalable data models will be the main focus of this position in order to power strategic front-end dashboards with high impact. You will take the initiative to expose crucial data to end users so that leadership can act swiftly and with data-informed decision-making in mind by collaborating closely with leadership stakeholders across the business. Strong communication and development abilities, as well as a proven capacity for autonomous curiosity and a commitment to excellence while working in a team, are requirements for this role.
Design, create, and continuously improve upon metrics, reports, dashboards, and analyses to help company stakeholders measure performance and make informed decisions.
Closely collaborate with functional group leads throughout the reporting lifecycle, from initial scoping and requirement gathering to deployment of accurate and impactful dashboards.
Deliver complex analyses and provide insights and recommendations to drive company performance by proactively making connections between Blue's business areas and the various data produced
Dive into and deeply understand new data sources and their underlying data libraries to transform, integrate, and make them accessible for self-directed analysis by stakeholders to answer business questions
5+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, or data science role
You have analytics experience focused on analyzing data centered around customer acquisition, SEO, lifetime value, personalization, and campaign impact analysis
Proficient in SQL
Deep statistics knowledge
Experience building ETL/ELT processes in data pipelines
Experience building and deploying data transform code using dbt
Experience using business intelligence reporting tools (Tableau preferred) to surface new data models and create measures on dashboards
Experience delivering end-to-end on a project
Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills to work across diverse stakeholders and cross-functional teams
