A senior accountant position is available for someone who wishes to have a significant impact on the finance department of a startup business. You will play a crucial role in carrying out and enhancing the month-end closure procedure. You will examine P&L variations and reconcile balance sheet accounts. We are both a hardware company and a SaaS platform, so as you become more familiar with the systems, procedures, and accounting for both of these business models, your knowledge of both will grow. As you contribute to bringing order to a rapidly expanding and constantly changing firm, you will have a direct line of reporting to the Controller and a great deal of autonomy.
Play a primary role in the monthly financial close process; from recognizing revenue to doing reconciliations, you'll help keep financial statements clean.
Assist in the improvement of inventory related systems and processes.
Collaborate weekly with the Finance team on continuous improvement initiatives.
Contribute to audit readiness projects.
Assist in the rollout of ERP point solutions and upgrades as necessary.
You are a licensed CPA
You have Big 4 audit experience
You have experience with inventory accounting
You thrive in detail oriented projects
You have a successful track record of coordinating many simultaneous projects and staying organized through it all
