Reporting to our Manager you will make, set, repair and maintain saws, knives (chipper), and other cutting tools & components. You will also lead, support and partner with the maintenance team in the care and upkeep of cutting machine centres (bandmills, chippers, saw units), including tool changing and machine alignment. Relocation provided for those living interstate or overseas.
Tertiary qualification with a minimum of Cert III in a saw doctoring discipline.
Experience with high strain bandsaws would be an advantage.
Demonstrated experience with efficient machine set up, preferably within a manufacturing environment.
Demonstrated ability to fault find, as well as good problem-solving skills and technical aptitude.
Ability to work as part of a team is essential and to work autonomously when required.
