SALES TRAINER, REMOTE | WORK FROM HOME

The new Sales Trainer role within the Sales Enablement team will play a pivotal role in guiding our Global Sales Organization’s hypergrowth. In this role you will be a key member of the Sales Enablement team owning Sales Training & Coaching. You will train and coach all SDR and BDM sellers - building on the on-demand training and content produced by your teammates.

Product Training

MessageBird’s sales team continues to evolve and innovate. Our SDR and BDM sellers need to be successful at conversations with a wide range of roles - ranging from C-suite to customer success, marketing and more technical roles. Our sellers should be trusted advisors as they talk customers through our solutions and handle questions and concerns they might have.

Sales Productivity - Sales Tools Management & Training

In 2022, MessageBird upgraded its entire sales tools stack which now consists of industry leading solutions across the board. You will collaborate closely with the Sales Enablement Specialist focused on Sales Productivity and train our sellers to reach high proficiency levels.

Sales Skills & Professional Development

In 2022, our Global Sales Team will receive intensive professional development training; mastering MEDDPICC as well as best practices from the solution selling methodology. Through training and coaching, you will help our sellers provide our customers the best buying experience on Earth.

This role is best suited for someone who is a strong trainer/coach who enjoys enabling others to tell enticing stories where our technology shines. You are aware of personal and cultural differences and you can tailor your approach to maximize your impact. You are eager to take on new challenges. Most of all, you welcome change and innovation!

What you’ll do

  • Align on priority topics with internal stakeholders

  • Train and coach our SDR and BDM sellers on:

    • MessageBird’s CPaaS platform

    • Sales tools - Priority projects: Salesforce, Sales Navigator, Outreach, Highspot and Admin

    • Sales skills and sales methodology

  • Support the sales onboarding program through training and coaching

  • Build reporting on training & coaching impact

  • In collaboration with the sales enablement specialists on the team, record presentations for on-demand video training and other resources

What you’ll bring

  • Positive energy and a strong passion to help sales teams succeed and reach their goals

  • 3+ years of proven track record in a sales trainer role with a SaaS, or IT “as a service” company

  • Effective project management skills and ability to manage priorities in an ever changing scale up environment

  • A desire to learn. Master our technology, become an expert on our sales tools

  • Excellent presentation creation and delivery skills with demonstrated skills in adapting content delivery by audience. Bonus points for graphic design and video editing skills.

  • Strong collaboration skills

  • Outstanding analytical skills, combined with impeccable business judgment
