Can you point to a great coach or motivator in your life who inspired you to push beyond your limits and achieve greatness? Could you be that person for another young adult? We’re looking for people who understand the value of hard work and discipline and want to encourage students to excel.
In this role, you will connect with students virtually and foster their academic achievement. You will be a role model who demonstrates that anything is possible with hard work. You’ll help students dream about achieving their most challenging goals and try, again and again, continuously pursuing the next personal best.
We are looking for outstanding coaches who know kids have unlimited potential. Just as great sports coaches and fitness instructors motivate through positive encouragement, you will show students you care about them, guide them to success, and celebrate their accomplishments.

1-1 calls with students over Zoom
Creating ways to motivate and inspire kids
Developing common interests by learning about what kids love
Fostering accountability through positive feedback and connection, not authority
Holding high expectations for kids and fully appreciating their potential
Teaching math, grammar, science, or any academic material
Grading, assessing, or developing student plans
Supervising students as an authority figure or “managing” students
Spending time with students without a clear purpose
Setting a low bar for what students can achieve
Creating a relationship with students based on trust and a personal connection. Students need to want to talk with you, not dread it.
Delivering motivation and inspiration based on positive feedback
Cultivating accountability and following through on students’ plans in an encouraging way
Developing student confidence in their abilities and appreciating their potential
1+ years of experience as an athlete or coach in an elite setting (college sports, professional athletics, etc.)
Bachelor’s degree in any discipline
Available for video calls six hours a day between 8:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Central Time
Candidates must be able to pass a background check
