To join our team, we are seeking a talented junior electrical engineer who has a strong interest in HV systems. The chosen applicant will collaborate closely with more experienced engineers to design, develop, and implement high-voltage systems for our customers. There is a great chance for professional advancement in the field of electrical engineering with this role.
Assist senior engineers in the design and development of HV systems, including substations, switchgear, transformers, and distribution systems.
Conduct engineering calculations, simulations, and analyses to ensure the reliability and efficiency of HV systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate HV systems into larger projects and solutions.
Support the testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting of HV systems to ensure optimal performance.
Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices related to HV systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, with a focus on HV systems.
Knowledge of HV system components and equipment, such as transformers, circuit breakers, and protection systems.
Proficiency in engineering software tools for design, simulation, and analysis (e.g., AutoCAD, ETAP, PSCAD).
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Prior internship or work experience in electrical engineering, particularly with HV systems, is a plus.
