Duties

Your primary area of expertise will be to contribute to central and local IT Risk Assessments and provide recommendations to the Business Leaders by:

  • Independently design, plan, and execute technical aspects of IT risk work programmes for specific areas under evaluation.

  • Execute technical components of risk and audit assessment, at all levels of the Eurofins’ Organisation: Central Services, Regional Infrastructure, Laboratories within the assigned region.

  • Propose relevant technical recommendations to enhance Eurofins´ process control, and risk mitigation.

  • Articulate results verbally in a clear, professional, and problem-solving manner.

  • Produce clear and high-quality reports to formally communicate results to management.

  • Follow up on the implementation of agreed action plans to mitigate identified IT risk.

  • Maintaining professional relationship with internal stakeholders and partners (IT and business).

 

Qualifications

Personal skills:

  • This position requires an independent and structured candidate with self-confidence and negotiation skills, with an ability to challenge established processes and effectively manage multiple priorities and ambiguity in a rapidly moving business environment.

  • Strong Emotional Intelligence with demonstrated leadership in a large organization involving multiple stakeholders.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must. The ability to convey information security and risk-related concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences in English is essential.

  • International profile, open to frequent travels within their region.

 Technical Skills:

  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in performing technical roles in cybersecurity and/or in related IT Control Functions in an international company.  

  • Broad experience with technical assessments of cloud-based environments.

  • Broad knowledge and understanding of industry best practice, and emerging trends for security configurations in the most known Operating Systems (Windows/Linux) and Cloud environment.

  • A strong technical background in cybersecurity and very good understanding of IT technology to ensure the achievement of business outcomes where the business process is dependent on technology.

  • Ability to provide input to data and security requirements for complex IT and business environments.

  • Broad technical understanding of network infrastructure design, firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM/SOAR.

  • Ideally knowledge/experience in UK/EU Data Protection Regulations, NIS2 Directive and other relevant regulations.

  • CISSP, CompTIA Network´+ or any other recognised Information Security qualifications.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or other relevant field.
