You will be coordinating with quantity surveyors to order and price materials while making sure that laws and standards pertaining to sustainability, health, and safety are followed.
The Office Manager will mainly be responsible for the following tasks:
Managing parts of construction projects
Overseeing building work along with site engineer.
Undertaking surveys
Setting out sites
Checking designs and drawings to ensure that they are followed correctly
Supervising contracted staff
Ensuring project packages meet agreed specifications, budgets and/or timescales
Liaising with clients, subcontractors and other professional staff, especially quantity surveyors and the overall project manager
Providing solving problems on site
Preparing site reports and filling in other paperwork
