We are currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse to work based in Bermuda, within the Intensive Care Unit. The salary for this permanent Registered Nurse job is £75,000 - £95,186 per annum.
Duties:
Gives direct patient care (simple to complex and trauma care to those ranging from neonates to geriatrics)
Utilizes the nursing process and develops a nursing care plan for each assigned patient
Initiates and participates in patient care conferences
Assigns teaches and directs other nursing personnel as required
Assumes in-charge duties as required/assumes responsibility for professional development by participating in continuing education programmes, keeping current with professional literature and participating in professional organizations
Requirements of the Registered Nurse:
Registered Nurse with Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma from an accredited institution/current registration as required by the Bermuda Nursing Council/current certifications: CPR and I.V/nursing Certification in Palliative Care &/or Long Term Care preferred or a commitment to complete the courses within the first year of employment
Experience as a Registered Nurse/experience in Physical assessment essential
Demonstrated knowledge and clinical competencies
