We are currently looking for a Quantitative Researcher who will be responsible to analyze market/traders' data and build statistical/mathematical/ML models or logic in order to improve our trading product. We offer a relocation package for the family and visa support

You will:

  • Analyze market data and trends in finance area with the purpose to plan new projects/products and/or adjust platform trading conditions

  • Build econometric/ statistical / mathematical / ML models with the purpose to improve Exness trading conditions

  • Analyze clients trades in order to detect clients abusive trading behaviors; create statistical models/logics in order to mitigate the risks arising from such behaviors

  • Create and check hypothesis based on financial data

  • Conduct Competitors analysis in terms of trading conditions

The ideal candidate:

Experience:

  • 2+ years’ experience as a Quantitative Researcher / Data Analyst / Data scientist on financial markets or related fields.

  • Statistics / Mathematics/ Finance / Financial engineering degree is a plus

  • Experience in market making / CFD / eFX industry is a plus

Professional Knowledge and Skills:

    • Very good knowledge of SQL

    • Excellent knowledge of Python and/or R

    • Knowledge of C++ is a plus

    • Excellent background in Statistics/ Mathematics/ Econometrics: understand statistical hypothesis testing and building advanced econometric / statistical models

    • Proven experience in analyzing complex and big data sets

    • Financial knowledge (asset pricing, financial econometrics, derivatives, market microstructure) is a plus

    • Machine learning: understand how to create robust forecasting ML models is a plus

    • Exceptional written communication skills, English - Fluent

    • Ability and desire to relocate to Cyprus
