We are seeking a Project Manager for the successful delivery of Post Let Administration, as part of GDOT Office of Alternative Delivery. This role is responsible for the leadership and management of a team consisting of civil engineers in support of the Georgia Department of Transportation project's profitable operation. They are responsible for proactively managing the project's technical budget, schedule, technical requirements, contractual obligations, project communications and performance. Responsible for gross revenue of <$5M.

Primary Focus Will Include:

  • Ensure proper administration of the project agreement thru the utilization of HNTB staff as well as supporting consultant team

  • Manages GDOT Alternative project with a focus on heavy civil highway projects in excess of $50 million

  • Represent HNTB in clear communication with its clients

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

  • 10 years of construction management experience

  • PE in Georgia

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Performs technical discipline tasks including research, reports, design, specification and plan preparation to ensure the most efficient and cost-effective execution of assigned projects.

  • Actively manages project scope, schedule and budget. Serves as the primary client liaison to bring the schedule, budgets and scope of work to completion and to the clients satisfaction.

  • Implements the firm's project delivery plan using HNTBs Sophisticated Delivery Approach (SDA) on each project.

  • Develops project scope and fee quotation, and assists in the preparation of proposals and contracts.

  • Coordinates work efforts and reviews of work performed by the project team. Supervises and mentors team to overall project objectives.

  • Oversees project staffing with departments, offices and divisions.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant degree

  • 8 years of relevant experience

  • In lieu of education, 12 years relevant experience
