In order to support the leadership team on important projects and to take the initiative in driving implementation, you will closely collaborate on the junction of regulation, technology, and operations. Your main objective is to ensure that our key strategic projects run as smoothly and ambitiously as feasible and to give all engaged stakeholders the ability to complete their assignments. You will have the opportunity to manage all business activities, interact with all teams, and comprehend the process of creating a financial institution from scratch. With the agility of an early-stage start-up and the support of a highly skilled workforce with extensive industry knowledge, you'll have the best of both worlds. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks in your work, from coordinating projects with various parties to moderating and participating in debates about particular topics. This allows you to have a very high exposure not only within our diverse & international team but also to the senior leadership team and to get first-hand insights on strategy development with operational execution.
You will:
Manage multiple work streams in our key strategic projects
Be responsible for steering internal and external stakeholders, prepare and manage the communication, with e.g. authorities, lawyers, consultants, auditors, investors & the general public
Setup, organize and lead alignment meetings with management and external partners
Research of best practices that are required to do business in a regulated environment
Maintain and develop PMO master files
Guide senior management through timelines, decisions required and overall project delivery
Monitor and report project progress and road blocks to senior management
Work closely with the leadership team and collaborate with colleagues all across lemon.markets relevant to our key strategic projects
You will be successful in this role if:
You have relevant PMO experience. Ideally you have worked prior in consulting, IB or financial institutions and are familiar with project management tools.
Brokerage, payments, or financial services excite you. And ideally, you had prior touch points to Fintech professionally and by that, understand the boundaries of regulation.
You gained hands-on experience with setting up & working on multiple work streams with numerous internal and external stakeholders simultaneously.
You cope well with ambiguity & uncertainty and account for it in your project planning. You have the ability to navigate a project, especially coping and integrating unforeseen events.
You can juggle several projects & deadlines while staying calm, organised and not losing sight of the bigger picture. That also means, you can push people without losing courtesy.
You thrive on ownership. “This is not my job!” is not part of your vocabulary - you take initiative & challenge the status quo. You are also willing to jump at ad-hoc requests brought up by our senior management.
You drive development with clear outcomes. Delivering a pragmatic but effective solution, is what you care about. You are focused on solving the real problem, but remain un-opinionated about the solution that gets us there.
You feel comfortable in fluent English and German, and have the ability to express content in professional legal and business language.

We're on a mission to open 100 million brokerage accounts within the next ten years. Providing tech companies with the infrastructure to launch stock trading in Europe. To do so we are building a brokerage API beloved by the developer community.
Over the last 12 months, we focused on bringing the first version of the API to the market. Thousands of developers signed up and hundreds started to build their individual use cases with us. This resulted in 80+ inquiries from companies to launch their own stock trading UI with lemon.markets. With 15 million of fresh funding, we are now taking the next steps towards our mission: Building out our capabilities to allow companies to offer stock trading to their customers.
