We are searching for engineering managers who will oversee the prompt delivery of all project-related design, procurement, construction, and commissioning paperwork. This position will oversee the Design and Engineering department for projects and report to both the General Manager and the Engineering Manager for day-to-day operations and line-of-business activities. We will support the Visa & Relocation process for successful international candidates.
Review and Approve the Design Management Plans and associated Project Programs for the duration of the project,
Implement a joint and common approach to design templates, interface management, design deliverables, reporting and delivery program management,
Provide direction and Guidance on design outputs to ensure compliance with the project requirements,
Contribute to the configuration of project management systems to ensure compliance by the engineering team in use of the systems
Participate in leadership roles for tender preparation including:
Engineering administrative functions,
Ensuring all elements of the tender design are coordinated between design team members,
Monitor external design consultants to ensure that the elements of their tender design are coordinated with overall tender design,
Monitor and control timeliness of tender design outputs,
With the aid of Chief, Principal or Senior Engineers; consolidate the engineering estimate for inclusion in the tender,
Attend tender approval meetings as necessary.
Tertiary degree qualification to Bachelor status in Engineering
10 year minimum contract and project related design experience
Experience gained in major infrastructure projects across Transport, New Energy or Utilities
Experience working on large (>$1bn) Projects structured as either JV’s or alliances.
Experience in business partnering with Senior Management
