We are looking for an intelligent, passionate, creative and curious platform Product Owner to join our Product team. Our main goal is to offer a Product that improves people's daily work, listening to their needs and ensuring a consistent communication of our values both outside and inside our Company. The ideal candidate is a person who can help us ensure that the objectives and requirements collected are achieved by the new features developed while always having the customer in mind and conveying these values to the development teams. If you are a proactive person, able to navigate complex environments and eager to address and solve business challenges of leading customers in industries, then this is the job for you. We’re in Florence -Italy, but we’re also interested in remote workers (your availability is requested during our working hours).
What you will do:
Work with Product Managers, Design team, Product Marketing team, Customer Success team, and other stakeholders to better understand our customers and make sure that our Product solves real problems;
Work closely with the Product Manager to ensure alignment with the global company’s roadmap;
Manage the Backlog writing epics, user stories and acceptance criteria to translate roadmap objectives into prioritised workable activities;
Have high prioritization skills to make sure to deliver the highest values as early as possible;
Inspire your development team on the company’s missions and goals, make sure everyone knows why features are prioritized and that they are motivated to build beautiful features for customers;
Listening to the development team to identify technological improvements and balancing them with business priorities;
Work closely with the development team to deepen the analysis and make sure everyone is independent in accomplishing their tasks.
What you need:
Knowledge in the software development lifecycle, how modern code gets developed and deployed into production;
MS/BS degree in software engineering or equivalent a prerequisite
Full knowledge of software industry trends and new advancements in tech
Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline and Cloud environment
Startup company previous experience is a plus;
Understanding of e-commerce and digital environment;
Customer orientation;
Decision making;
Knowledge and passion for technical topics;
Eager to quickly learn the Company's software products Ability to transform limits or problems into actionable proposals respecting objectives and time constraints;
Effective at developing working relationships with all the different stakeholders;
Good understanding of how to interpret customer needs and translate them into functional and operational requirements;
Flexibility and adaptability;
Fluent in English.
Experience:
Experience working with a Scrum team or other Agile frameworks;
Previous experience in software delivery, S.A.A.S model experience is a plus;
