The Product Owner is responsible for product planning by defining, writing, and communicating user stories to the development team. Product planning includes managing the product throughout the Product Lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, to deliver winning products.   • Take the lead on scrum teams as the Product Owner

  • Provide vision and direction to the Agile development team and stakeholders throughout the project and create requirements

  • Plan and prioritize product feature backlog and development for the product

  • Provide backlog management, iteration planning, and elaboration of the user stories

  • Work closely with Product Management to create and maintain a product backlog according to business value and ROI

  • Provide and active role in mitigating impediments impacting successful team completion of Release/Sprint Goals.

  • Keep abreast with Agile/Scrum best practices and new trends

  • Communicate effectively with team members to achieve project goals

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Product Owner or Product Manager

  • 3+ years of experience in the Health IT/Med Tech market

  • Demonstrated experience working in an Agile environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent organizational and time management skills

  • Excellent teamwork skills

  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Creative and innovative thinker

  • Technical background, with experience in applying AI, Automation and Analytics to Surgical Video and Big Data preferred

  • Fluency in English and French, both written and spoken

  • Bachelor’s degree (MBA preferred)
