PRODUCT MANAGER, REMOTE | WORK FROM HOME

We are looking for a Product Manager to join our Consumer Experience (CX) team. This newly formed role will drive product roadmap planning and delivery for products serving health plan members and patients across our suite of services. This role will report to our Senior Product Manager, CX.

What will you do?

  • Communicate complex concepts, both written and verbally, to influence peers and stakeholders to make decisions or adjust approach when needed

  • Identify and translate business objectives and user feedback into requirements and lead a team through execution

  • Interact with users to understand their workflows, lead user research sessions to gather feedback and aggregate the output into user problems

  • Prioritize product requirements & capabilities to ensure incremental delivery of high value functionality to drive business results and user / customer satisfaction

  • Deliver incremental user value by having a cross-functional view of the problem and driving difficult tradeoff decisions

  • Coordinate dependencies, communicate delivery projections, and manage stakeholder expectations

  • Develop go to market plans and supporting materials

  • Serve at the Product Owner of a Scrum team

  • Understand high-level strategic levers and drivers of the business.

  • Develop and measure KPIs for the product to define, track and communicate value delivery

  • Understand how consumers interact with the healthcare ecosystem, and advocate for consumer & patient needs in product development.

We are looking for someone with:

  • Innate curiosity, almost obsessively so, with a passion to share knowledge and challenge the status quo to uncover creative solutions.

  • A desire to understand complex systems in detail

  • Acute focus on the user and able to express their perspective and what they need to ensure each problem statement clearly traces back to these core points.

  • Skills to build a case from data, using data to explain the degree of a problem and to make strategic product decisions. When such data isn’t available, you lead the charge to gather it.

  • Ability to articulate the organizational value delivered in your last few releases to all levels of the company from R&D peers to executives. More importantly, you can tell the story of the value that is currently in your backlog or roadmap using data, KPIs, or expected financial results.

  • Direct experience building product experiences for consumers, and knowledge of solution design for commonly used features such as user registration and authentication, patient matching, conversational messaging, digital self-service mechanisms

  • Sufficient understanding of enterprise technologies to lead discovery sessions with technical SMEs

  • Experience defining product experiences in which complex data is made comprehensible for end users

  • A strong foundation in Agile methodologies (particularly Scrum)

  • Five years of professional experience including three years of product experience

  • Prior experience in healthcare is a plus, but not required
