We’re looking for a Procurement and Logistics Analyst to join our dynamic team of 100+ people, working remotely on a full-time basis. You’ll be responsible for purchasing, freight and customs clearance for certain SKUs.
Among many exciting challenges, you will:
Identify product needs and submit purchase orders (POs), considering inventory levels and lead times well in advance of actual need
Follow up open orders with suppliers to ensure they are dispatched on time
Get quotations from freight forwarders and confirm shipments
Work cooperatively with customs agencies to ensure customs clearance is completed on time
Track all open orders and incoming overseas containers, and provide accurate ETAs to the Operations team
Track all POs and delivery dates
Confirm suppliers’, forwarders’ and customs agencies' invoices with the Finance team
Work with the Forecasting and Operations teams to ensure received items are updated in the system to reflect the latest inventory levels
Cooperate with suppliers to determine improvement points on supply chain processes
Work with freight forwarders to ensure the POs are shipped on time
Ensure all data in ERP system are up to date
Work effectively with Product Development, Operations, Forecasting and Finance departments
Build relationships with both new and existing vendors; research cost-reduction opportunities and analyze and recommend options.
Do you have what it takes?
You have a bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, or related subjects
You have 3-4+ years’ experience in purchasing and managing inventory
You’re experienced in ERP, MS Office and Google Sheets
You’re familiar with ecommerce. Experience working with Chinese suppliers is a bonus
You’re fluent in English and have excellent written and verbal communication skills
You have a high level of attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
You can plan, prioritize and problem solve in a fast-paced environment
